Grand Palace
Located on a wooded lot in southern Dallas, this residence aims to capitalize on the natural setting, connecting to the outdoors and providing intentional views of the woods and the creek below. The form of the building wraps around a protected outdoor space.

Due to strict neighborhood regulations, conformity with existing houses was required, and brick had to be utilized on 80% of the building facade.
Results
Work Done
A clerestory window was added along the main circulation corridor, bringing natural light to the interior of the home. Eleven homes were constructed using this plan.
